Our clinic is part of the https://bigcountrypcn.com/.  They provide professional staff as a part of our multidisciplinary team approach to enhance and deliver health care services. Presently we have a Nurse Practitioner, an RN, LPN, Footcare Nurse, a Wellness Coordinator, Referral Navigators and a Mental Health Therapist working with us.

Nurses: They are responsible for patient education and follow-ups for chronic disease management, health promotion and prevention for all ages. They also assist the physicians with medical procedures and tasks.  We have a nurse doing footcare every Wednesday and on Thursday afternoons. Patients can self-refer to see any of the nurses.

Referral Navigator: The Navigator's role is to facilitate patient referrals to specialists, specialty clinics and other medical investigations.

Mental Health Therapist:  Ryan provides counselling here at KMC two days a week for a variety of mental health needs.  This is by referral only, so ask your doctor if you need that extra support.

Wellness Coordinator - Community Liaison Coordinator: At KMC every Thursday!  This position is focused on Seniors and can help with things such as stretching and finding balance exercises for falls prevention or to maintain mobility; memory loss or dementia support; caregiver support and education; decreasing risk for social isolation by connecting people to community services and groups.  For more information or to book an appointment, you can reach Kim at 403-321-4727.
